Description

La Grande Bosse is part of a complex of many lakes along the river Seine. It holds the biggest Mediterranean Gull colony in the Paris area. Very impressive with several hundreds of pairs, also with Black-headed Gull. The area is also a nesting place of Red-crested Pochard. And you can expect different species of waders, ducks, herons and raptors in migratory stopover or in winter.
