Description

The Lac de Gérardmer covers approximately 115 hectares and has a length of 2.2 kilometers and a width of 750 meters. The deepest point is approximately 38 meters. The lake is located at an altitude of 660 meters. The purity of its water and the streams that supply it make Lac de Gérardmer a quality place of life for many animals such as amphibians, fish, but also birds. The lake is a good place for the observation of birds of the medium mountain forests. But you can also have be surprised by a few migrating birds.

La pureté de son eau et des ruisseaux qui l'approvisionne en font un lieu de vie de qualité pour des nombreux animaux tels que les amphibiens, les poissons mais aussi les oiseaux. Le est un bon endroit pour l'observation de l'avifaune des forêts de moyenne montagne. Mais on peut aussi avoir la surprise de quelques oiseaux d'eau de passage.

You can access the lake by many places: parking lots are present in several places along the lake. The circular route indicated on the map is about 5 km.
