Description
Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the Common Redshank, the Black-winged Stilt, the Cetti's Warbler, the Zitting Cisticola, the Eurasian Kestrel or the Common Shelduck. During migration, the Red Phalarope or the Black Redstart are passing through. In winter, Brent Goose, European Golden Plover and Northern Lapwing are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
