Parc du Marquenterre, is an ideal place to observe birds at the heart of the Baie de Somme National Nature Reserve.

Description

Whatever the season, you can watch thousands of birds of over 300 species (waders, shorebirds, water birds, perching birds and birds of prey) without disturbing them. There are three walking routes (approx. 45 min, 75 min and 90 min) which take you along the twelve observation posts.

Access

Due to its location, traveling there by car is the best option. Park at the visitor centre. Park Entrance: Adult: € 10.50.

Access to the Marquenterre Park is not free, but worth the admission price. With so many hides there is so much to see, you can spent an entire day here. 

The three different walking routes make it easy for young and old. If needed, binoculars can be rented at the visitor center. There are many nature guides who can provide additional information on the birds in the park.
