Pierre-Perthuis - Saint-Pere

Morvan  >  France

Beautiful walk through the countryside of the Morvan, with a lot of variety of bushes and hedges and a bit along the river Cure. Nice look at Vézelay.

Especially the alternation of bushes, hedges, bushes and river gives a nice variety of birds. A perfect walk for easy birding and seeing nice birds like Golden Oriole, Common Quail, Icterine Warbler, Skylark, Red-backed Shrike, Black Kite and Corn Bunting.

Parking just outside Pierre-Perthuis. Cross the bridge and you will find a small parking lot on the left. From there walk the trail that is shown on the map (About 4 km one way).
