Description

La Réserve Ornithologique de Saint-Cyr is a protected nature reserve located at the northern shores of Lake Saint Cyr. There are many observatories, trails and information panels that allow you to explore this wetland. During migration many birds make a stop here and In winter, many ducks from the Nordic countries find refuge on the Saint-Cyr lake and its reserve. Among the birds you can see are Common Teal, Common Cuckoo, Little Ringed Plover, Little Egret, Cetti's Warbler, Blackcap, Northern Lapwing, Common Sandpiper, Common Tern, Sand Martin, Common Kingfisher and Cirl Bunting.

Access

There is a big parking lot. Click on the P in the map to get direction. From the parking you can walk to the trails. Pink trail: this marked circuit, punctuated by three observatories, equipped with informative panels, allows you to discover the site at your own pace in complete freedom. Orange trail: this "accompanied" tour allows you, during a guided tour by a nature animator of the LPO, to enter the heart of the reserve and discover the secrets and richness of the life of the site.

Français: Il y a un grand parking. Cliquez sur le P dans la carte pour obtenir la direction. Du parking, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'aux sentiers. Sentier rose : ce circuit balisé, ponctué de trois observatoires, équipés de panneaux informatifs, vous permet de découvrir le site à votre rythme en toute liberté. Sentier orange : ce circuit « accompagné » vous permet, lors d’une visite guidée par un animateur-nature de la LPO, de pénétrer au cœur de la réserve et de découvrir les secrets et la richesse de la vie du site.
