Description
The Beuerbacher See is a small scenic lake surrounded by forest located between three villages in the municipality of Hünstetten. With a bit of luck, especially in January, you might spot Common Kingfisher. Other birds that can be found around the lake and the adjacent mixed forest include common birds like Grey Heron, Mallard, Egyptian Goose, Tufted Duck, Great Cormorant, Common Buzzard, White Wagtail, Dunnock, Common Chaffinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Nuthatch, Blackbird, Magpie, European Robin, Eurasian Blue Tit, and Great Tit. Less common birds you can observe include Marsh Tit, Hawfinch, Eurasian Bullfinch, Black Woodpecker, Yellowhammer, and Eurasian Tree Sparrow.

Der Beuerbacher See is located just outside the village of Beuerbach. The lake is easily accessible by car. There are two small parking areas within walking distance of the lake. Press P on the map for directions to a parking area. The circular walk around the lake is less than 1 km.
