A few kilometers down south there are other ponds Brinkenweiher, Postweiher and Hausweiher. They are very close and also worth a look while being in the area. Together with Wölferlinger Weiher 5km in the east they are called the seven ponds of Westerwälder Seenplatte. The latter is the most natural one and also quite secluded. So its worth a visit also because of the beauty of the landscape (even though there is a quarry nearby).
