This shallow small lake is the biggest of the seven reservoirs called Westerwälder Seenplatte, located between the village Dreifelden and two smaller ponds.

Description

Dreifelder Weiher is a small artificial lake surrounded by forest and agricultural area. The shoreline is mostly covered by reed, therefore there are many different habitats on a relatively small area. During migration you can find rarities.

Access

Parking areas in the village of Dreifelden on the eastern shore, but also on the northwestern shore at the camping area. You can make a circular walk of 6 km around the lake.
