Description

The Flemhudder See area is located between the lake Westensee area and the North Sea- Baltic Sea Channel and offers some nice birding all year round. Best spot to observe Smew in the winter. Ruddy Duck has been present here in 2020 and 2021. Some of the other birds you can encounter are Red-necked Grebe, Northern Pintail, Common Crane, Sedge Warbler and Western Marsh Harrier.
