Description

Detention base with an artificial wetland biotope at its east side. A little hotspot for migrating and hibernating waterfowl like Black Stork, Common Goldeneye, Osprey and Little Grebe. In former times with top species like Whooper Swan, Tundra Swan (Bewick's Swan), Long-tailed Duck, Black-throated Diver (Arctic Loon). But can be still good for suprises! Good chances for Common Kingfisher and White-throated Dipper alongside the river Itz north of the lake.
