Fulderaue und Ilmenaue is a nature reserve along the river Rhine. A river wetland with important areas of shallow backwaters acting as a feeding area for waterfowl and a breeding and resting place for waders and other waterfowl. Fulderaue und Ilmenaue is located 4 km to the east of the villige of Bingen am Rhein. There is a parking lot in the middle of the nature reserve. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From the parking you can explore the area on foot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 4,5 km long.
