Description

Gronauer Masch is a nature reserve of 32 hectares. The area is characterized by ponds, siltation zones and reed beds and subsequent wet meadows. It is an important breeding, resting and wintering biotope for waterfowl. It is a very nice place to watch water birds. In the north of the nature reserve there is a lookout tower from which the area can be viewed. Birds you can see here are White Stork, Great Cormorant, Great Egret Grey Heron, Mute Swan, Common Cuckoo, Eurasian Skylark and Common Kingfisher.
