Haarstrang bei Holzwickede-Opherdicke offers horse pastures, farmland and small structures of bushes, hedge remains, forest edges and a very good view. Among the birds you can encounter are Red Kite, Eurasian Kestrel, Eurasian Goshawk, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Stock Dove , Eurasian Skylark, Yellowhammer, European Goldfinch, Meadow Pipit, Common Starling and Little Owl.



Parking at Haus Opherdicke Wasserschloss (moated castle). Click on the P in the map for directions. From there follow the road ("Dorfstraße") to the east. The circular route indicated on the map is about 5 km. There is a Café in the "castle" offering coffee, Tea and cake...
