This is a huge forest area and a good spot for Crested Tit and Great Spotted Woodpecker. The pond is good for Tufted Duck, Great Crested Grebe and many more birds.

Description

Hohe Ward und Hiltruper See has a wonderful forest around the pond. In this area are many ways you can go. The most birds like the Coal Tit and the Crested Tit are very high in the trees. Sometimes rarities like Ring-necked Duck can turn up.

Access

Large forest area between Hiltrup, Albersloh and Rinkerode, located south of Münster. You can park in the big parking lot at the street "Zum Hiltruper See". Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The area has many walking trails and paths for bikers.
