Klosterforst Preetz is a forest with a good number of large trees and some dead wood. The most common forest birds can be found here. Among the birds you can see are Black Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Wood Warbler, Tawny Owl, Northern Goshawk and Common Raven.



Several access points to the forest. No good connection with public transport. Good to reach by bike from Kiel and Preetz.
