Description

Königsbrünnchen is a bubbling and natural spring. The water spreads a light smell of rotten eggs because of hydrogen sulfide. The spring is located in an old, somewhat enchanted alluvial forest. Many wider paths as well as narrow paths invite you to explore this area, which, despite tall trees, lets in a lot of light and ensures good visibility. Birds such as Black Woodpecker, European Robin, Song Thrush, Wren and Coal Tit can be seen here during the day. In spring and summer you can also see the Mandarin Duck in the small stream. It is also a wonderful place to linger and have a picnic.
