In the forest parts of Lampertheimer Altrhein you can see different species of woodpeckers and tits as well as White Stork breeding in the trees around. The water "Welsches Loch" is home to a colony of Great Cormorant, and during migration you can see gulls, geese and waders resting and feeding on the muds.

Park your car or bike near the entrance of the area and explore it by foot.
