Description

The Mittlere Horloffaue is an important marsh and wetland area. Various breeding, migratory, resting and winter birds are regularly present in the Mittlere Horloffaue. As breeding birds you can find here White Stork, Northern Lapwing, Bluethroat and Corn Bunting. On migration you can see Common Crane and different spieces of waterbird. As winter guests you can see Greater White-fronted Goose and Taiga Bean Goose.

Coming from Utphe (Parking place) go into the wetland area. Visit the lake nearby.
