Description

From the observation hide you can see many species of birds without the need (or the possibility) of walking around. During migration, quite a few rarities or difficult to observe birds have turned up here, including White-tailed Eagle, Osprey, Great Bittern, Spotted Crake, Little Crake, Little Gull, Long-tailed Skua, Avocet and more.

Common birds here are: Common Kingfisher, Eurasian Kestrel, Gadwall, Mallard, Common Teal, Mute Swan and Little Grebe.

Access

Park your car at Bruchstraße and don't drive down to the wetland as only residents are allowed to do so. You'll have to walk about 300 m. The last 20 m aren't as flat anymore and can be a bit slippery, so I'll have to say that the place is inaccessible for wheelchair users.
