Description
Surrounded by the river Trave and the Baltic, the Priwall is like an island. Its, forests, bushes, wet meadows and shores attract lots of different birds. Especcially the Nature Reserev (NSG) Südlicher Priwall, well managed by the "Landschaftspflegeverein Dummersdorfer Ufer", is a superb area, famous for its breeding Northern Lapwing. In winter the surrounding river Trave, Dassower See and Pötenitzer Wiek sometimes hold great numbers of ducks.
