Description

The Tennenloher Forst is a nature reserve of 936 hectare within a 25 thousand hectare forest called Nürnberger Reichswald. There is an open former military training ground of 90 hectare in its core that became a nice place to see birds such as Eurasian Nightjar, Eurasian Woodcock and Whinchat and many other birds. Przewalski's horses roam free here and keep the area open.
