Description

The shallow lakes around Wasserschloss Neuhaus are partly used for fish breeding, but offer a reed and water habitat for many bird species. Especially the occurance of 5 heron species attracts a lot of birders: Black-crowned Night Heron, Purple Heron, Little Bittern, Great Egret and Grey Heron.
