Description

A nice area for easy birdwatching near the village of Kalloni. Between olive groves on one site and rocky hills on the other a variety of birds can come your way. Raptors like Long-legged Buzzard, Eurasian Kestrel and Short-toed Snake Eagle overhead. Also Dalmatian Pelican can be seen flying. And near the road on the rocks the Western Rock Nuthatch has its domain.

Access

This birdingplace is along the side of the road, so you can park almost anywhere. Cycling or walking is also a very good option, given the many walking routes in the area. Close to the lively town of Kalloni.
