Theotokos Beach has a seasonal wetland next to the sea. You can see many birds for this area of Southern Pelion, like: Crag Martin, Northern Wheatear, Barn Swallow, Whinchat, Yellow-legged Gull, House Martin, European Shag, Tawny Owl, Red-rumped Swallow, Common Buzzard, Little Bittern, also see the birdlist below.
You can access the area through the road which it crosses between the beach and the wetland. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
