Description

Worth visiting when you are in Tokyo area. You can go there any time of year, but make sure you go there when tide is low. Optimal time is just when the tide starts coming in. The list of this platform does not yet contain all Asian species, that's why the list presented below is far from complete.

Take the train to Minami Funabashi and then walk or take a cab. There is a parking lot, but who's driving in Tokyo?

The visitors' center opens rather late (for birdwatchers).  However, you can watch the birds even when it is closed. Once inside you pay a small fee and may use the scope and facilities inside the building.
