Description

Green Island is an artificial island in front of Kuwait's skyline. It is a public park, where several interesting bird species can be observed. Hypocolius can reliably be found here between November and March. The park is also good for migrating passerines and some introduced species (e.g. Rueppell's Weaver, Red-vented Bulbul). At the central pond and at the shore waders, gulls and terns can be observed.
