Description
The Babuna Heights area contains many species of bird of prey including Egyptian Vulture, Long-legged Buzzard, Short-toed Snake Eagle of which the best view can be seen from the ridge across the valley. With a bit of luck Rock Partridge and Black-eared Wheatear can be seen on the walk up.

Access
The Babuna Heights are located about 60 km southeast of Skopje, near the village of Babuna. Parking for a couple of cars at 41.676209, 21.798511 (If you come up or down near this point there a lot of scrub to go through), trail up I used started at 41.671680, 21.798346 allow an hour to get to the ridge. The circular route shown on the map is about 2 km. Even if you don't climb to the ridge you can see and hear many good birds from just walking along the road.
