Bossenwaard

Utrecht  >  Netherlands

A nice place to look for waterfowl, during all seasons. In the winter many geese and in summer a great place for waders like the Little Stint.

Description

The Bossenwaard is not that huge. You can overlook the whole area (with turning your body, ofcourse) from one point. So it is kind of easy to see all the birds at one glance. Some of the birds you can see here are Common Pochard, Common Shelduck, Little Stint. But you can also go around the Bossenwaard if you want to make a walk. We have drawn a 2 km route on the map.
