Description
Berbice is originally a 17th century country estate on the Leidseweg in Voorschoten. The park is laid out according to the characteristic English landscape style. The forest is good for watching typical forest birds such as Tawny Owl, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Nuthatch, Short-toed Treecreeper and Firecrest, but you can also see birds like Grey Heron and Common Kingfisher.

Het bos is goed voor het kijken van typische bosvogels als bosuil, grote bonte specht, boomklever, boomkruiper en vuurgoudhaan, maar ook diverse soorten mezen, de blauwe reiger en ijsvogel kun je er zien.
