On Drachterveld you can find all sorts of meadow birds. There is a swampy area where birds can dig for food. Birds are also breeding in the area. It's a peacefull place where you get surprised by the variety of birds. Some of the birds you can see are: Western Yellow WagtailLittle Ringed PloverReed BuntingSedge WarblerWhooper SwanBlack-tailed GodwitCommon Redshank, Common Greenshank, Eurasian OystercatcherGreat Crested Grebe and Northern Shoveler.
