Walk through a typically Dutch polder landscape near Eemnes. The walking route covers two dykes that date back to the Middle Ages.

Description

One of the best areas in The Netherlands to see the Dutch polder landscape and the typical meadowbirds as Black-tailed Godwit, Common Redshank, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Oystercatcher and Eurasian Curlew. You walk among the birds and sheep. The bird watching hut offers a view on the Eemmeer. Especially in Spring and early Summer this is a great birding experience. If you're lucky, you can see a White-tailed Eagle passing over.
