One of the best areas in The Netherlands to see the Dutch polder landscape and the typical meadowbirds as Black-tailed Godwit, Common Redshank, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Oystercatcher and Eurasian Curlew. You walk among the birds and sheep. The bird watching hut offers a view on the Eemmeer. Especially in Spring and early Summer this is a great birding experience. If you're lucky, you can see a White-tailed Eagle passing over.
Best explored walking. Accessible by bike, car and public transport. A good parkingspot is available at https://goo.gl/maps/3PX7sgveCp4DuZmS6.
