Description

From this viewing platform with benches you have a good overview of the wetlands and the canal. Expected species are: Marsh Warbler, Reed Warbler, Bearded Tit, Bluethroat andGrasshopper Warbler. Flying over Western Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard and Eurasian Hobby. In the autumn Osprey and Hen Harrier can be seen regularly.

Nederlands: Moerasgebied met opslag van struiken en bomen en berkenbos. Vanaf dit uitzichtplateau met bankjes heeft u een goed overzicht over de moerasgebieden en de vaart. Te verwachten soorten zijn: Marsh Warbler, Reed Warbler en Bearded Tit, Bluethroat en Grasshopper Warbler . Overvliegend de Western Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard en Eurasian Hobby . In het najaar laat de Osprey en Hen Harrier zich regelmatig zien.

Access

About 1.5 km north of Hardegaryp there is a parking lot on the Ottemawei after 1.5 km. The viewing platform is located after 800 meters via a wide path and cycle path.

Nederlands: Ongeveer 1.5 km ten noorden van Hardegaryp ligt na 1.5 km een parkeerterreintje aan de Ottemawei. Via breed pad en fietspad na 800 meter ligt het uitkijkplateau.
