Description
An open area, grazed by Highland cattle. Especially in spring a great place to visit and watching many species of passerines. The bushes are home to Greater Whitethroat and Lesser Whitethroat and Western Yellow Wagtail is often seen in the fields.
Common reedbirds like Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting and Reed Warbler breed in the reedbeds. Other birds that can be heard or seen are Grasshopper Warbler, Savi's Warbler and Bluethroat. During migration season it is worth to keep your ears and eyes open for the rare Aquatic Warbler.
