Description
Due to the construction of the secondary channel in recent years in the floodplains of the Maas near Batenburg, water flows through this area. This has created a peninsula with gently sloping banks. This shallow transition zone from water to land attracts many birds .Nice birds you can find here are Eurasian Wigeon, Northern Lapwing, Common Redshank, Spoonbill and Grey Partridge.
