A bird hide with a good view over Zwartewater and Vogeleiland in the distance. Good chances to see Reed Warbler, Bearded Tit and Reed Bunting close.

Description

To reach the Mandjeswaard bird hide you walk through a meadow and reedbeds to the hut. There you can allready spot birds like Bearded Tit and Bluethroat. From the bird hide you have a wide view on the waters op the Zwartewater. You can see many geese and ducks. And if you are lucky the White-tailed Eagle from Vogeleiland (Bird Island) will fly by.

You can park the car at the gate in the bend of Mandjeswaardweg (coordinates: 52.618889, 5.973611). See the P on the map. It's a 500 meter walk to the bird hide.
