This large observation tower overlooks the Loenderveense Plas and the Waterleidingplas.

Description

The tower overlooks the lakes of Loenderveense Plas and the Waterleidingplas. The area has a large diversity of water and meadow birds. From the quay, among other things, you have a chance of Great Reed Warbler, terns and Little Gull. Als other reedbirds as Sedge WarblerReed Bunting and Savi's WarblerPurple Heron is also possible.

In the wintermonths on the Loenderveense Plas you can see many Tufted Duck, Eurasian Wigeon, Common PochardGreat Cormorant en Greylag Goose. Many songbirds also and if you are lucky a Common Kingfisher.
