Description

An artificial nesting wall for Sand Martin was created adjacent to the reed marsh of the lake during the construction of the aqueduct. This wall is clearly visible from the cycle path. In the reed bed there are often Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Bearded Tit and many species of ducks on the water. A pair of White-tailed Eagle has been nesting in the area for several years now.
