De Sliedrechtse Biesbosch forms the most northerly part of the National Park De Biesbosch. Much of the Biesbosch is covered by water and is therefore lush with sedges and reed beds. Common Kingfisher, Cetti's Warbler and Bluethroat are important nesting birds. You can also come across Little Egret nearly everywhere. Incredible diversity and amount of birds.
From A15 – exit 23 or A16 exit 20, N3 (Randweg) then exit Hollandse Biesbosch for Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht (visitor center). Best to be discovered by water. Find a rental boat at Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. Or take the small ferry and walk about 5 km.
