Description

Windesheim-Tichelgaten Nature Reserve contains winding dikes along the IJssel. But also quite a lot of paved paths through open and varied landscape. Marsh areas around and capital trees. At the ponds are two bird viewing hides, named De IJsvogel and De Visarend. As the name of the cabin suggests, you do indeed have a chance of seeing a Common Kingfisher at De IJsvogel. You will also find various duck species in the area. At the end of summer and in the beginning of autumn, Osprey is sometimes seen here.
