Description

Wite en Swarte Brekken is an open meadow bird area in the spring and in autumn and winter resting and foraging area for many species of ducks and geese. Including Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Northern Pintail and Gadwall. Geese sleep in large groups: Greater White-fronted Goose, Barnacle Gooseand Pink-footed Goose. There is almost always one or two Peregrine Falcon in the area.

Nederlands: Wite en Swarte Brekken is een open weidevogelgebied in het voorjaar en in herfst en winter rust en foerageergebied voor vele soorten eenden en ganzen. o.a. Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Northern Pintail, Gadwall etc. Ganzen slapen er in groete groepen: Greater White-fronted Goose, Barnacle Goose, Pink-footed Goose. Vrijwel altijd zitten er een of twee Peregrine Falcon.
