Description
Creu de Can Boquet is located at Serralada Litoral Park. The landscape is dominated by Mediterranean forest (Holly Oak, Aleppo pine), garrigue (Erica and Cistus shrubs), and vineyards. The place is good for watching forest species of the Mediterranean area, like Subalpine Warbler , Western Bonelli's Warbler , and Melodious Warbler .
Woodpeckers are present in the area all year: Great Spotted Woodpecker , Iberian Green Woodpecker , as are tits: Great Tit , Eurasian Blue Tit , Crested Tit , Long-tailed Tit and Eurasian Nuthatch , Firecrest , and Cirl Bunting are easily heard and seen. At night, Tawny Owl and Eurasian Nightjar can be heard, and the latter seen.
In summer interesting species include Alpine Swift , European Bee-eater , Eurasian Wryneck , Common Cuckoo , and Golden Oriole. During migration, interesting species like Woodchat Shrike , Common Redstart , Northern Wheatear , Whinchat , and Pied Flycatcher can be observed. Birds that can be spotted in winter include Sparrowhawk , Wood Lark , Meadow Pipit , and Rock Bunting.

Access
Creu de Can Boquet is located at Serralada Litoral Park, and it can only be reached by car. The area is best explored on foot. It takes around 1-2 hours to explore the area. To visit the site, park the car in the parking site. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. Go direction to the Roca d’en Toni, where a dolmen can be seen. Just explore some of the paths that are in the area, looking for birds in the forests and the fields. The route shown on the map is about 2,5 km one way.

The area is vey hot in summer, and best time to visit in the early morning. During the weekend there are a lot of people all year, so better to visit the site in the early morning in the weekends.
