Description
The walk along the beach North of El Cotillo is varying between rocky lava fields and small bays with white sand. Here Little Egret and Sanderling can be seen, but also Ruddy Turnstone and Kentish Plover.
A bit further in inland (see map) is breeding ground for Stone-curlew, along the road and path you can see Trumpeter Finch, Spectacled Warbler, Berthelot's Pipit and Lesser Short-toed Lark. In the area also Egyptian Vulture and Peregrine Falcon can be seen.
According to ebird Scopoli's Shearwater / Cory's Shearwater and Red-billed Tropicbird has been seen.
