Description
Iskele Parki is a diverse area 45 km east of Antalya. I was there in April 2023 and the reed beds were filled with wablers, Barn Swallow, Common Kingfisher, Purple Heron and Spotted Crake. You can walk or drive until there is a parking where the river ends in the sea. Here is a much dryer area with more semi desert birds and a small beach with some waders. Species seen there were many Woodchat Shrike, Crested Lark, Northern Wheatear, Stone-curlew, Spur-winged Lapwing, Common Ringed Plover, Reed Warbler and Graceful Prinia.

Iskele Parki is behind the Port Nature Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa. From the hotel there is only one way that ends at the beach. I had to come from further so then you can drive until the beach to a parking and explore the area on foot. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
