Description
In the Clent Hills five species of bat, fallow and muntjac deer, stoat, weasel, badger, fox, hare and 130 bird species have been recorded. Rareties include Eurasian Hoopoe, Jack Snipe, Great Bittern and Black Redstart. Ring Ouzel are conspicuous in mid to late April. Also Tree Pipit, Grasshopper Warbler, Garden Warbler, Eurasian Woodcock and Barn Owl.

Access
Clent Hills are between A456 and A491. Exit M5 at junction 4 (from south) or junction 3 (from Birmingham). Car parks as shown on map. Click on a P in the map to get directions. Area west of Walton Hill is best for birding. Some paths are strenuous.
