Description
Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. Corn Crake breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. Twite, Hen Harrier and Merlin also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as Pink-footed Goose, Greenland Greater White-fronted Goose and Barnacle Goose, Great Northern Diver, skuas, Purple Sandpiper, Ruddy Turnstone and godwits. Manx Shearwater and storm petrels offshore.

Access
Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
