Description
Deepsyke Forest is a beautiful woodland area in the Scottish Borders. It is a quiet area with a good selection of birds to see. For example Common Crossbill, Eurasian Jay, Mistle Thrush, Coal Tit, Eurasian Bullfinch, Eurasian Nuthatch, Wood Warbler, Goldcrest and Common Buzzard.

Deepsyke Forest is located 20 km south of Edinburgh. The area is only accessible by car, parking is in the south of the forest. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you can explore the forest on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 miles (3,3 km).
