Description

The city high flyers you’ll spot here are Common Kingfisher, Common Tern and the occasional Black Redstart. Because where once 19th century ships delivered their cargoes, there’s now tranquil open water, wildflower meadows and salt marsh. East India Dock Basin is a real gem. A perfect escape from the city for the family and a nature lover’s delight.

East India Dock Basin opening times: July - August: 08:00 - 21:00. September - October: 08:00 - 19:30. November - March: 08:00 -17:00. April - June: 08:00 - 19:30. You can access through walking, cycling, train and buses.
