Description

Falcondale Lake is good for wetland and woodland birds. Wildfowl, Eurasian Coot, Eurasian Moorhen, grebes, woodpeckers, Eurasian Nuthatch, Eurasian Treecreeper, Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warbler, Common Redstart, House Martin and Barn Swallow. Osprey possible on migration.

Access

Head north from Lampeter on Aberaeron road, turn right towards Silian after two miles. Lake is on right with limited parking. Regular buses. No trains nearby.
