Description
Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Little Tern and some Sandwich Tern and Common Tern. Several wader species, Eurasian Kestrel, Barn Owl, Common Scoter, Eurasian Skylark and Linnet. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Reed Bunting, Reed Warbler, Eurasian Treecreeper, Grey Wagtail, Spotted Flycatcher, Eurasian Siskin and Water Rail. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
