From the Greater Scaup to the snowy white Iceland Gull, the birds that can turn up at Hollowell Reservoir provide hours of birding. Other bird species you might spot include Red Phalarope, Dunlin, Common Ringed Plover as well as Western Yellow Wagtail, Northern Wheatear, European Stonechat and Rock Pipit. And, if you are lucky, you may even spot Osprey and Eurasian Hobby that regularly pay a visit.
